Where to Get AI Lanes for Assetto Corsa Traffic Servers
Download high-quality AI Splines from the community and learn how to upload them to your AssettoServer to enable realistic online traffic.
AI Lanes (also known as AI Splines) are the "invisible tracks" that tell AI vehicles where to drive. For AssettoServer.org to handle traffic online, it requires high-quality splines that define the road, pit lanes, and boundaries.
Discord Community Releases
The AssettoServer Discord (#ai-spline-releases) is the most active hub for traffic files. Here are the most popular tracks currently supported by community-made splines:
- Shutoko Revival Project (SRP)
- FDR (Free Drive) v0.2 - v0.8.5
- Kunos Nordschleife (Traffic)
- LA Canyons
- Transfagarasan (2-Way)
- Kowloon v0.5 - v0.8.5
- Union Island
- Provence Alps
- Targa Florio (2-Way)
- Spa 2022 (Track Day)
- Osaka / Hanshin Expressway
- Hakone Turnpike
- Daikoku (Maze AI)
- Touge (Akina, Irohazaka, etc)
The developer community provides splines with special behaviors for a more realistic experience:
- • Lane Changes (LC): Allows AI to swap lanes dynamically.
- • Exits (EXIT): Allows traffic to leave the main track for realism.
- • Multi-Lane Support: Optimized for SRP and FDR to use all available lanes.
How to Upload AI Lanes
- Access Track Management
On the top navigation bar, click the Content tab, then select Tracks from the menu.
- Select Your Track
Locate the track you want to modify from the list and click on it to open its specific settings.
- Upload via Drag & Drop
In the track menu, you can simply Drag and Drop your
fast_lane.ai(p)files or use the file selector. The panel will automatically place them in the correct directory:
/content/tracks/[track_name]/data/ai/
You can also see currently uploaded lanes and download them for backup in this same menu.
Common Errors
If you launch the server and traffic does not appear, check the console for this error:
[ERROR] No AI splines found. Please put at least one AI spline fast_lane.ai(p) into /data/ai/
