Create your AC Server

AssettoHosting allows you to create high-performance online sessions for Assetto Corsa, ranging from competitive races and championships to drifting and rally sessions.

Included Features
Custom tracks, weather control, mod support, and time attack modes.
✗ Not Available
Traffic or Freeroam modes (These require dedicated Traffic Servers).

Accessing your Panel

Once your plan is purchased, check your email for the login credentials and server link.
  • Click the Person Icon in the top-right corner of the link.
  • Enter your user and password provided in the email.
  • Click Login to enter the dashboard.

The Server Tab

Navigate to Server > Options to manage global visibility and security.

Server Name

How your server appears in the online lobby.

User Password

Lock your server for private sessions with friends.

Admin Key

Required to ban users or change sessions in-game.

The Content Tab

Upload your favorite cars and tracks via the Content tab.

Track Upload

Upload folders to Content > Tracks.

Car Upload

Upload folders to Content > Cars.

Crucial Upload Rules
  • No Compressed Files: You must upload the actual folder from your AC installation. Do not drag .zip or .rar files directly.
  • Installation Path: Use the folder found in Assetto Corsa/content/tracks (or cars).
  • Batch Limit: Drag and drop works, but keep it to max 10 items at once to prevent timeout errors.

The Races Tab

To manage your sessions, go to Races and select the Custom option. Here you can create permanent configurations that will not disappear when the race ends (unlike the Quick option).

Custom Race Configuration

Track & Vehicles

Select the map and its track layout (circuit variants). For cars, use the central arrows to move available vehicles from the left list to the right list (the cars that will be available in the race).

Sessions Tab

Enable or disable Practice, Qualifying, and Race. Set the time in minutes for each session and choose if the server allows Free Join (join at any moment).

Entry List Tab

Set the Maximum number of clients (must be equal to or less than the track slots). Configure Pickup Mode: ON for free entry or OFF for booking mode via Steam ID.

Entrants Tab

Add as many participants as drivers you want using Add Entrant(s). You can assign specific cars, skins, or let the driver choose any available vehicle.

Weather & Realism Tab

It is mandatory to include at least one weather setup. In Realism, adjust tire wear, damage multiplier, and Surface Preset for grip (Initial Grip, Randomness, and Lap Gain).

Advanced Entry Options
  • Locked Entry List: Only allows drivers whose Steam ID matches the one assigned in the list.
  • Driver Swaps: Allows assigning multiple Steam IDs to a single car, which is very useful for endurance races.
  • Session Transfer: Indicates the level of grip that transfers from one session to the next (e.g., from Qualy to Race).

Once finished, go to Save Custom Race, assign a name, and save. You will find your session in View Existing, ready to be launched with the Start button.
