Ultimate Universal Dummy Mod Guide
The technical manual for drivers, passengers, and physics-based props.
The Universal Dummy Mod is the spiritual successor to the famous 'Drivers, Passengers and Loads'. It adds crash test dummies or stunt drivers to almost any car, supporting all vanilla vehicles and most mods.
1. Installation & Exceptions
Usually, you just need to open the Parts Selector (Ctrl+W) and go to the License Plate Design slot to select the Dummy Driver. However, there are exceptions:
This car lacks the license plate slot. Find the dummy under Additional Modification.
Features a dedicated part in the selector for up to 20 passengers with optimized physics.
2. Positioning & Clipping Fixes
If the dummy is clipping through the seat (common on modded cars), use the Positioning Setup slot:
Uses the driver camera as a reference. Warning: The dummy will "explode" when first spawned.
Action Required: You MUST reset physics using the I key or Insert key. Do NOT use Ctrl+R (Reload), it will not fix it.
In the Tuning tab, look for Driver and Passengers > Manual Offset Setup. Adjust these values to move the dummy. If it shakes, move it 1–3 cm forward or back to stabilize it.
3. Collision & RHD Support
Dummies have simulated interior collision. By default, they are set for LHD (Steering on the left). If you are using a Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicle, you must change this in the parts selector.

Use Ctrl+T to see the green collision layers over the dashboard.
Advanced Features
The dummy uses the steering wheel with high angles for realistic driving visuals.
Prevents falling out of the car. Use Realistic (Vanilla) or Universal (Mod cars) options.
Adds cardboard boxes to the trunk with adjustable weight in the Tuning tab.
Dummies can break into pieces on high impact. Adjust breaking force in Tuning.
Every passenger has a camera that follows the head's physical movement.
Switch between body models and customize parts in sub-slots.

Why Hosting Matters for Dummies
Every dummy added to a car is a physics object calculated 2,000 times per second. If you host a server with 10 players, all using dummies, your home PC's CPU will struggle to keep up.
