Assetto Corsa Server Not Showing in the Lobby?

If your server is running but invisible in the public list, follow these proven steps to force proper registration with Kunos and restore lobby visibility.

1. Enable "Register to Lobby"

The most common reason for invisibility is that the server hasn't been told to "announce" itself to Kunos.

Action: Go to the Options or Config menu and ensure "Register to Lobby" is checked/enabled.

2. Verify with Server Logs

Verify

You can prove the server is communicating with Kunos by checking the console logs immediately after starting the server. Look for the registration call:

RESPONSE: OK,80214479,28004
CONNECTED TO LOBBY

If you see "RESPONSE: OK", your server has successfully registered its presence.

3. The "Overcrowding" Workaround

Sometimes the Kunos master servers are overwhelmed by the thousands of servers starting every day. Even if your logs say "OK", the public list might fail to update.

The Solution

Stop and Start the server 2 or 3 times with a slight name change each time (e.g., "My Racing Server" → "My Racing Server !"). This small variation forces Kunos to re-index your server immediately.

4. Browser Filters & Content Manager

The standard in-game browser is very limited. If you have any filters active (like "Missing Content" or "Locked"), your server might be hidden locally.

Pro Tip

We highly recommend using Content Manager (CM) as your server browser. It is much more powerful and reliable for searching the massive global server list.

5. The "Golden" Join Link

While visibility is important for attracting new players, the most reliable way to join is using the Direct Join Button.

Follow this steps
  1. Open your server dashboard.
  2. Locate the Live-Timing area.
  3. Click the JOIN button.

This will launch your game and connect you directly to the IP, bypassing the lobby entirely.
