Activate Visual Rain on Assetto Corsa Server
Step-by-step guide to activate rain on your Assetto Corsa server with CSP. Configure MOTD, set rain intensity and apply correctly.
This configuration enables visual rain effects through CSP. It does not modify tyre grip, track physics or wet surface simulation.
1. Access Settings
- Location
Navigate to the Server tab and locate the Messages menu.
- Motd
Inside the menu, find the section labeled motd (Message of the Day).
TipAssetto Corsa uses this field to inject weather scripts (like CSP) that the server reads at the start of each session.
2. Configure Visual Rain in MOTD (CSP Setup)
Insert the specific rain code into the MOTD field. The number you enter determines the rain intensity.
It is mandatory to include the final full stop (.) at the end of the code line for the server to process it correctly.
- __RAIN_INTENSITY=85.
- Note: Use the code typically found in your weather mod description.
3. Save and Apply the Rain Configuration
- Check for the final full stop.
- Click the Save button.
After saving, any event you create from the Events menu will feature rain.
